About the role
As the Finance Controller for the Cheyenne, WY Site, you will serve as the primary finance business partner, supporting plant operations, supply and logistics functions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver insightful financial reporting, analysis and guidance to facilitate strategy development and management decisions
- Optimize site production mix
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities
- Maintain a strong internal control framework
- Provide transparency and drive alignment across Nitrogen operations
- Develop singular message for drivers impacting manufacturing results with insight into overall Dyno Nobel Americas earnings impacts
- Drive increased forecast accuracy for plant operations, inventory and capital expenditure
- Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Analysis tools
- Scenario planning and alternatives evaluated
- Project evaluation supporting growth and sustenance
- CAPEX: including validation that thresholds for Risk, IRR, NPV & Payback are achieved
- Partner closely with plant management team to build collaborative working relationships and influence them to superior results through data driven insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance, CPA or CMA certification desirable
- 7+ years with progressively increasing responsibility and demonstrated strong analytical ability
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- SAP, Microsoft Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel and BW Analysis functionality, budget/forecasting modeling tools
- Self-starter, able to work independently and achieve results through others
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Work effectively in a matrix organization
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
