Finance Consultant - Auto Park Honda

About the role

Auto Park Honda is seeking a Finance Consultant to join their team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of financing and leasing for new and pre-owned vehicle contracts, working closely with Sales Management to keep them and client advisors informed of contract statuses.

Responsibilities

• Maximize products sold on each vehicle transaction.
• Understand Manufacturer programs and other finance sourcing options.
• Communicate relevant finance program information to client advisors.
• Review contracts to ensure proper submission to financial sources.
• Ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
• Report approval status of customer contracts to client advisors.
• Work with finance sources to maximize customer approvals.
• Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting sales.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to secure reasonable profit from every sale.
• Partner with sales managers to achieve desired sales department financial goals.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; College degree preferred.
• 2+ years of related sales experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of dealership sales experience in various aspects of the sales department or similar related work.
• Experience working with computer systems, finance programs, and sales principles.
