About the role

The USDS Finance team supports TikTok's US Data Security Joint Venture in Financial Planning and Analysis, Finance Operations, and Entity Accounting. We partner closely with global stakeholders to ensure data compliance and system implementation. We are seeking a self-motivated Finance Business Partner with 5+ years of relevant experience to join the TikTok US Data Security JV Finance team. The ideal candidate will drive financial planning and analysis activities, ensure efficient resource allocation, and contribute to the success of USDS JV initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for specific business teams, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align with strategic goals.
  • Partner with business leaders to manage and review budgets, track and approve budget execution, including project, contract, purchase order, and other approvals.
  • Conduct contract reviews to ensure favorable terms and conditions aligned with the organization's financial objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
  • Perform month-end close tasks, such as accrual proposals, ensuring high-quality financial reporting in collaboration with accounting, AP, and other finance functions.
  • Oversee project financials and provide strategic guidance to ensure projects are executed within budget and financial goals are met.
  • Deliver management reporting using visualization tools, providing accurate and timely financial and operational insights to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of financial planning and analysis or equivalent experience in advisory, with a focus on data security, technology, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting large datasets to drive actionable insights.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive finance, financial management, and budgeting experience.
  • CPA or CFA credentials.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with accounting, tax, and other finance functions to achieve the Finance organization's mission.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $117,334 – $215,967 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is part of a total package that may include discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits vary by employment type and country work location.
