Finance Business Partner to CEO - Construction - Manhattan, NY
Description
Reporting into senior finance leadership, the Finance Business Partner will serve as a key strategic partner to operational and commercial leaders across the North American business. This individual will provide financial insight, performance analysis, and decision support while helping the construction business optimize profitability, improve forecasting accuracy, and identify growth opportunities.
Partnering with operational, commercial, and functional leadership teams to support strategic and financial decision making.
Providing analysis and insights on business performance, financial results, and emerging trends.
Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning processes.
Delivering monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management commentary.
Supporting business leaders with operational and commercial reporting that drives actionable outcomes.
Identifying opportunities for margin improvement, cost optimization, and revenue enhancement.
Conducting regular P&L reviews and performance discussions with regional stakeholders.
Developing financial models, investment evaluations, and business cases for strategic initiatives.
Monitoring key financial and operational KPIs while highlighting risks and opportunities.
Translating complex financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance audiences.
Driving a culture of accountability, data-driven decision making, and financial rigor throughout the organization.

Profile
In return for a competitive remuneration package, the successful candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor's degree
Experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles
Exposure to project based, construction, engineering, consulting, professional services, or similar industries preferred
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance management experience
Commercially minded with strong business acumen
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence decision making and challenge constructively
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high growth, evolving environment
Job Offer
Base salary of $160,000 to $180,000
Performance related bonus scheme (target bonus 20%)
