Who We Are

KOMPAN has been designing, manufacturing, and installing innovative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites since 1972. Our headquarters in Denmark collaborates with us to design more than 1,000 sites per month across 90 different countries. Based in Austin, Texas, we support field sales in the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecast update processes
  • Analyze key drivers of revenue and expense
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Support the Leadership Team and department heads with in-depth analysis
  • Prepare presentations for the Leadership Team
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to Sales, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams
  • Operate as the liaison between Financial Accounting and the rest of the business
  • Lead business process improvement initiatives

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of financial analysis or finance business partnering experience in a complex, growth-oriented organization
  • Advanced level experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Dynamics 365
  • Operations-focused mindset with the ability to work constructively and proactively with various functions (sales, logistics, installation, manufacturing)
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to solve complex mathematical problems
  • Highly driven and self-motivated

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

This position is office-based from the KOMPAN U.S. Headquarters in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of financial analysis or finance business partnering experience in a complex, growth-oriented organization
  • Experience in high-volume construction or installation business is preferred
  • A well-rounded skillset, with experience across multiple aspects of construction and accounting operations, is preferred
  • Advanced level experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Dynamics 365
  • Operations-focused mind-set with the ability to work constructively and proactively, with many different functions (sales, logistics, installation, manufacturing)
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to solve complex mathematical problems
  • Highly driven and self-motivated
