About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead Nuton’s monthly and quarterly financial performance management and reporting.
  • Oversee cost management, forecasting, and the ongoing development of Nuton’s cost models.
  • Provide financial oversight across the portfolio, including investment tracking, project funding, and cash burn management.
  • Support capital allocation, studies, pilot programs, and long-term business planning activities.
  • Deliver financial insights and decision-support analysis to enable capital prioritization and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance, IS&T, Tax, Treasury, and Controllership teams to ensure effective governance, compliance, and operational support.
  • Support portfolio modelling, business case development, project evaluations, and investment approvals.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects that advance Nuton’s business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in finance, commercial, engineering, or business partnering roles within industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of the mining industry, capital investments, and key drivers of business performance.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information effectively.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
