Finance Auditor I (Caesars New Orleans)

About the role

The Finance Auditor I ensures accurate accounting and reconciliation of gaming revenues in compliance with regulatory and company standards. Duties include detailed audit procedures, document review, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Enter statistical information into the computer system and generate reports
  • Review, reconcile, and verify documents for accuracy and completion
  • Respond to customer inquiries and communicate with affiliated departments
  • Audit and verify daily gaming revenue for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and maintain audit reports and supporting documentation
  • Maintain organized records and adhere to internal controls and regulations
  • Communicate findings and issues to leadership
  • Protect confidentiality and integrity of financial information
  • Resolve discrepancies and variances promptly
  • Support accounting operations through clerical and administrative tasks

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (plus)
  • Previous experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or casino hotel operations (plus)
  • Basic knowledge of internal control procedures within gaming operations (preferred)
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with accurate calculation and interpretation of financial data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required); experience with Access database software (preferred)
  • Experience with financial and casino systems such as Infinium, CMS, or SDS (Bally’s Slot Data System) (plus)
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service-focused approach
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced 24/7 environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Able to work at a computer terminal throughout the assigned shift and sit for a long period
  • Able to bend, reach, carry, stand, maneuver up and down stairs, and lift 20 pounds
  • Able to receive telephone calls and maneuver to and from various departments for paperwork
  • Able to keep well-organized workstation
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
