Finance Attorney (Law Firm Contract Engagement)

About the role

Latitude is seeking an experienced Finance Attorney to assist one of its global law firm clients with an internal AI project. This is a multi-month (3–6 month) contract engagement that requires candidates to work on-site in Chicago, Illinois.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working on leveraged finance matters, syndicated lending, acquisition finance, and leveraged buyout transactions, private placements, direct lending, fund finance, senior secured credit facilities, mezzanine debt, unitranche structures, and second lien financings
• Familiarity with the application of AI and legal technology to finance transactions, including contract analysis tools, document automation, and workflow optimization is a plus
• Experience evaluating, piloting, or implementing AI tools within a transactional legal practice is a plus
• Licensed and in good standing
• Outstanding references
• Prior experience working in the corporate department of a national or regional law firm is strongly preferred

Pay

The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $180,000 to $210,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.
