This role is hosted by a well-established regional law firm with more than 120 attorneys seeking a Finance Attorney for its growing transactional practice.

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level attorney who wants to build a diverse finance practice with meaningful client contact, sophisticated transactions, and long-term growth potential within a collaborative regional platform. The role offers hybrid work flexibility and is based in one of the following locations:

  • Lebanon, PA
  • Reading, PA
  • Lancaster, PA
  • Harrisburg, PA

Responsibilities

The attorney will represent banks, financial institutions, borrowers, and other business clients in a broad range of financing transactions, including:

  • Asset-based lending
  • Commercial lending and secured finance
  • 501(c)(3) financings
  • Healthcare-related financings
  • Public/private infrastructure financings
  • Loan documentation and transaction structuring
  • Due diligence and closing coordination
  • Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security documents, guarantees, and related financing documents
  • Advising lenders and borrowers throughout the lifecycle of complex financing transactions

Depending on experience, the attorney may also work on:

  • Municipal and tax-exempt financings
  • New Markets Tax Credit transactions
  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit transactions
  • Historic Tax Credit transactions
  • Other tax-advantaged or public finance matters

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of substantive finance experience
  • Experience representing banks or other financial institutions in complex financings
  • Background in commercial lending, secured finance, or asset-based lending
  • Experience in a midsize or large law firm environment
  • Exposure to healthcare, nonprofit, infrastructure, or public finance transactions is highly desirable
  • Municipal finance, tax-exempt finance, or tax credit experience is a plus
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Pennsylvania Bar admission or eligibility to become admitted

Pay

$140,000 - $220,000 per year
