Finance Associate - 2027 Leadership Development Program

Job Summary

The Finance Leadership Development Program accelerates professional development by placing participants on multiple Avient Finance Teams during a two-year rotational program. Participants gain hands-on experience through rotations in key areas of finance, audit, accounting, and international finance, and actively participate in various Corporate, Business Unit, and International assignments.

Responsibilities

• Work as a partner with business analysts and department analysts or directors to resolve financial-related issues.
• Contribute to financial analysis, general accounting, and cost accounting by practical application.
• Gain exposure to domestic and international operations and knowledge of Avient customers and go-to-market strategies.
• Contribute in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, forecasts, and the annual budget process.
• Contribute in the planning, execution, and reporting of financial and operational internal audits.
• Interact with Senior Management, build relationships with other employees across the globe, and make a difference in Avient's future success.
• Perform other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related business field required.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience (internship experience applicable).
• Team player with strong project management and organizational skills required.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and take initiative in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
