About the Role

The Finance Assistant will support financial reporting, contract administration, revenue analysis, and accounts receivable activities.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Reconciliation: Review recognized revenue and invoicing records to identify discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting.
  • Budget Analysis: Research, compile, and organize budget information to support contract setup and revenue planning activities.
  • Contract Review: Analyze contract and billing activity to ensure services are properly invoiced and financial records are complete.
  • Data Validation: Investigate discrepancies between financial and operational systems to maintain accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
  • Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with follow-up on outstanding balances, communicate with external stakeholders, and support payment tracking efforts.
  • Financial Administration: Maintain organized financial records and assist with reporting, reconciliation, and special finance projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Recent graduates and candidates with internship, finance, accounting, or administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial reporting, revenue recognition, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently are required.
