About the Role
The Finance Assistant will support financial reporting, contract administration, revenue analysis, and accounts receivable activities.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Reconciliation: Review recognized revenue and invoicing records to identify discrepancies and support accurate financial reporting.
- Budget Analysis: Research, compile, and organize budget information to support contract setup and revenue planning activities.
- Contract Review: Analyze contract and billing activity to ensure services are properly invoiced and financial records are complete.
- Data Validation: Investigate discrepancies between financial and operational systems to maintain accurate reporting and recordkeeping.
- Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with follow-up on outstanding balances, communicate with external stakeholders, and support payment tracking efforts.
- Financial Administration: Maintain organized financial records and assist with reporting, reconciliation, and special finance projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Recent graduates and candidates with internship, finance, accounting, or administrative experience are encouraged to apply.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial reporting, revenue recognition, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite is required, and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently are required.
