About the role
The Financial Analyst is an entry‑level role supporting a project in accounting and finance functions. Each Kiewit project operates like a small business, and the Financial Analyst handles critical tasks such as cost control, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, human capital management, and compliance. The role involves executing processes and using tools for labor, construction equipment, materials, and subcontract cost/revenue components, participating in month‑end close, and preparing financial reporting packages for project management.
Kiewit Power Market provides direct‑hire and construction services for power generation and distribution — natural gas plants, solar fields, nuclear facilities, energy storage, transmission lines, substations, and underground distribution — across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. The district is committed to the “Nobody Gets Hurt” philosophy and seeks individuals open to regular relocation for career development in field operations including project controls, craft management, safety, quality, and contract administration.
While headquartered in Lenexa, KS, Power projects span the entire United States. Candidates must be open to travel and relocation as business requires; Kiewit provides generous relocation packages and travel benefits for field assignments.
