Finance Analyst FT

General Summary

The Finance Analyst provides service-oriented direction and guidance regarding Finance within GAHHS. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining statistics, performing month-end close procedures, generating reports/analysis, assisting in the creation of board reports, maintaining general grant knowledge, assisting with cost reports, audits, and taxes, generating invoices, maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements related to service lines that generate unrelated business income, and completing state and federal surveys as needed.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Create and maintain statistics.
• Perform month-end close procedures such as bank reconciliations, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Create and maintain various reports/analysis.
• Aid in the creation of the board reports.
• Maintain general grant knowledge and review compliance.
• Assist with cost report, audit, and tax schedules.
• Generate invoices, maintain ledgers, and prepare financial statements related to service lines that generate unrelated business income.
• Complete State and Federal Surveys as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing between 5 to 25 pounds.
• Strength to perform lifting tasks: Floor to Knuckle- 30 lbs, 12” to Knuckle- 40 lbs, Knuckle to Shoulder- 20 lbs, Shoulder to Overhead- 10 lbs, Carry 14ft.- 20 lbs, Push 25ft- 10ft/lbs, Pull 10ft- 10ft/lbs.
• Ability to stand up to fifteen minutes at a time.
• Communication abilities to gather and exchange information with all departments, including the ability to use a telephone.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Visual acuity necessary to observe and obtain information and use documentation.
• Auditory acuity to hear patient/family/others for purposes of communication.
• Detail oriented and able to work at a rapid pace without sacrificing attention to detail.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to the Director of Decision Support.
