Finance Analyst – Costing
About the role
This role supports end-to-end costing requirements for the S4 scope, including definitions, reporting, and controls. It also involves partnering with Operations and Finance stakeholders to validate costing assumptions and master data dependencies, performing detailed cost analysis and variance explanations, and assisting with development of training materials and post-go-live stabilization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end costing requirements for the S4 scope, including definitions, reporting, and controls
- Partner with Operations and Finance stakeholders to validate costing assumptions and master data dependencies
- Perform detailed cost analysis and variance explanations (standard vs. actuals)
- Support Fit-to-Standard workshops, UAT testing, defect resolution, and readiness sign-offs
- Assist with development of training materials and post-go-live stabilization efforts
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or related roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Experience with financial reporting and compliance standards
- Familiarity with financial software and tools, including Excel and ERP/SAP systems
