About the role
The Finance & Accounting department ensures the company’s leadership team receives timely, high-quality, and accurate financial information and advice regarding actual, forecasted, and budgeted results. This role supports business decisions through the identification and analysis of key business drivers, cost/benefit evaluations, and business improvement options.
The Financial Analyst I serves as a central player in reporting and analyzing financial results while working closely with the financial leadership team. The role involves translating business objectives into actionable strategies, targets, and short- to long-term financial plans in a full-time, hybrid capacity.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership with timely, high-quality, and accurate financial information and advice regarding actual, forecast, and budgeted results to support business decisions.
- Prepare financial evaluations, budgets, business plans, and performance reports against plans.
- Communicate and educate stakeholders on key business results, asset stewardship, and risk management activities.
- Manage product costing and inventory valuation for multiple plant sites.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments with shifting priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement in management and financial reporting systems, identifying opportunities to enhance value and reduce complexity.
- Support the preparation of materials for leadership presentations, including the monthly business review process.
- Improve asset stewardship by ensuring adequate controls and adherence to policies and standards.
- Ensure compliance with regional Delegation of Authority policies.
- Submit non-plant capital expenditures.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting role with emphasis on financial analysis.
- 1+ year of experience working with an ERP system.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree.
- 3+ years of experience in a cost accounting role.
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant role.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- Experience in construction and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with SAP.
