About the role

BETA Technologies seeks a Final Assembly Line Technician to join our dynamic team. We are revolutionizing electric aviation through innovation and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on installation and testing of aircraft systems.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of manufacturing processes as the key process owner.
  • Perform in-process quality control inspections, identify process deviations, and participate in troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation in compliance with internal and external quality systems.
  • Inspect, clean, and service manufacturing equipment, and perform routine and preventative maintenance.
  • Keep maintenance logs for all machines, tools, and jigs in SubCell.
  • Generate regular productivity and incident reports as needed.
  • Operate safely and comply with all safety regulations.

Requirements

  • A two-year degree from an accredited technical school is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make independent decisions.
  • Knowledge of operating hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schematics of battery/electronic components.
  • High Voltage assembly experience, particularly in DC energy storage systems.
  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or assembly.
  • Good communication skills, especially in team settings.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace (G-Suite) including Drive, Mail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Charts, Hangouts.
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for 8 hours per day.
