Position Summary / Job Role
FP Filtration is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented onsite Filtration Technician to support our operations at Blue Origin's facilities in Merritt Island, FL. This position is based out of the MSF Building and serves as the primary coordination point for filtration needs at:
- Melbourne Facility
- Patrick Space Force Base (Launch Site)
- Rocket Park (Primary Manufacturing Facility)
Key responsibilities
Work Order Coordination
- Receive and analyze monthly filter work orders provided by Blue Origin.
- Ensure filters are staged, organized, and available in advance of scheduled change-outs.
- Verify accuracy of filter specifications and quantities.
- Ensure proper labeling and tagging aligned with work order requirements.
- Maintain documentation accuracy for audit and traceability purposes.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate onsite inventory counts at all supported facilities.
- Implement and manage check-in/check-out procedures for filter distribution.
- Cookordinate with FP Filtration leadership to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize stocking levels.
Onsite Organization & Logistics
- Organize and maintain clean, efficient storage areas within the MSF Building.
- Stage filters according to project priority and scheduled maintenance windows.
- Assist in coordinating inter-facility transfers as needed.
Communication & Partner Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact between FP Filtration and Blue Origin HVAC technicians.
- Provide timely updates on inventory status, shortages, and lead times.
- Escalate issues proactively to prevent work stoppages.

Necessary qualifications for this role
- High school diploma required; technical or supply chain experience preferred.
- Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or industrial supply coordination preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift and move filtration materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Must be able to pass any required background or security screening for access to Blue Origin and related facilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Primarily onsite at MSF Building in Merritt Island, FL.
- May require periodic travel between Melbourne, Patrick Space Force Base, and Rocket Park.
- Warehouse and industrial environment exposure.
- Standing, lifting, organizing materials regularly.
