Schedule

7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a 2-2-3 rotation:

• Week 1: Work Monday–Tuesday, off Wednesday–Thursday, work Friday–Sunday
• Week 2: Off Monday–Tuesday, work Wednesday–Thursday, off Friday–Sunday

Responsibilities

• Start up and shut down the filter press system
• Monitor and operate sulfate and recovery tanks
• Operate and maintain pumps
• Promptly acknowledge, assess, and react to system/process alarms to ensure safety and continuity
• Maintain equipment, including cleaning the refrigeration coil, de-sludging, refilling, and charging acid tubs
• Calibrate pH meters and log readings
• Clean the filter press and designated work areas
• Perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor, prioritizing safety above all else

Requirements

• Must be organized and able to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Commitment to following established procedures to eliminate preventable mistakes and maintain high standards
• At least one year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
