About the role

Perform setup, mixing, filling, operation, and troubleshooting of filling equipment used to fill bulk and BiPak orders.

Responsibilities

• Follow operating procedures, including ISO procedures, safety rules, PPE requirements, and SDS’s.
• Fill orders based on the information on the fill ticket.
• Fill out requisitions for raw materials and non-inventory items.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Weigh materials and heat materials.
• Operate equipment: computers, scales, mixers (Hobart, Ross Mixer, Speed Miser, Air Mixer), paint shaker, large 30-gallon roller, ovens.
• Operate BiPak/QuickPouch equipment and print labels needed to complete orders using Eppendorf, Gilson, and Semmatic/Nordon dispensing equipment.
• Conduct quality in-process inspection of materials.
• Perform all required maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of machinery (scales, mixers, etc.).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of MRP & ERP systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Pay

This position has a salary range starting at $20.50 per hour. The actual salary may vary based on relevant skills, experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic location.

Meridian offers an incentive plan for 2025 focused on safety, quality, and financial metrics. Eligible employees can earn up to $1,520 annually, with payments distributed quarterly.

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday
