Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Adjusts Filling machine with proper fill weight for product.
- Reports quality and operational issues to management as they occur and submits work orders.
- Checks accuracy of container coding for product being filled.
- Completes all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
- Makes adjustments to chart recorders when necessary.
- Performs metal detector verification tests.
- Ensures fill detection equipment is functioning prior to startup and tests regularly during a production run.
- Assists Check Weight Operator to supply capper.
- Isolates product that deviates from standards and reports to management.
- Maintains sanitary equipment conditions during production.
- Handles cleaning chemicals in a safe manner utilizing safety equipment such as gloves, eyewear, etc.
- Examines final package for any defects, i.e. glass, cap, code, etc.
- Follows all DFA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate, regulatory quality, and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain safe environment and perform other duties in a safe manner at all times.
- Utilize scanners or thin client units to make SAP transaction for the purpose of maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring reliable product traceability.

- Performs CIP/COP sanitizing utilizing procedures and methods.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Able to effectively communicate in writing & speech (English).
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Benefits
- $18.50 Starting Pay / Increase to $23.66 @ 90 Days
- Shift Differential Paid at $.50/per hour with shifts starting at 2pm or Later
Pay
- $18.50 to start, Increase after 90 days
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 8:00PM to 4:00AM
- Possible Saturdays based on Demand

Minimum Requirements
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED
