About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, Filipino/Tagalog-speaking caregiver to support our Plano/Allen senior adult clients in their homes. Many of our clients specifically request caregivers who understand their language and culture – your skills make a real difference! Qualifications
- Speaks Tagalog and understands cultural nuances.
- Prior caregiving experience (family or professional), preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Warm, patient, dependable, and kind-hearted.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- CNA, HHA, or PCA a plus (not required).
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow the client's plan of care to deliver personal care services as assigned.
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely from bed to chair, etc.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
- Offer culturally respectful, language-matched care.
- Report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Communicate updates with family and care team.
Pay
Starting pay: $18 - $21 per hour, based on experience and client requirements.

Language requirement: Tagalog / Filipino (required) and English (basic to conversational).
