Role Description
- Drive Talent Development
- Coach and develop Style Advisors to build their personal brand as a fashion authority through proactive outreach including social media platforms and to broaden connections beyond client base
- Leverage Learning & Development resources to provide appropriate training to close identified skill gaps and accelerate performance
- Coach Style Advisors to use clienteling tools to stay connected with the client and make targeted recommendations based on shopping history and preferences
- Ensure consistent and effective use of the Performance Management process to reinforce accountability, recognize impact, and elevate talent
- Manage a select team of stylists, ensuring that stylists adhere to In Residence standard operating procedures
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition to recruit and retain top sellers, support career progression
- Act as a strategic partner to Training and Talent Acquisition to develop targeted strategies that address people opportunities and accelerate store talent
- Proactively identify future talent needs, trends, and succession opportunities to build a strong and maintain strong candidate pipelines
- Drive Recruitment
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition to recruit and retain top sellers, support career progression
- Act as a change agent, supporting cultural evolution and successful adoption of enterprise and store-level strategic initiatives
- Exercise a high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information
- Champions change at both the store and enterprise level, reinforcing our values and commitment to continuous improvement
Key Qualifications
- A preferred minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in luxury retail, clienteling, and leading a team
- Basic proficiency with Workday and Google Product Suite, advanced proficiency preferred
- Proven track record achieving business results
- History of leading, motivating, and coaching teams to achieve objectives
- Demonstrates a natural ability to solve problems through strong analytical thinking and organizational discipline
- Speaks with truth and candor, challenging the status quo as appropriate
- Supports team in learning and developing job-related skills, including proficiency with technology and digital related tools
- Collaborates with team to consistently enforce policies and procedures while supporting associate understanding
- Proactively seeks opportunities to increase team productivity and business growth
