Portage Township Schools Job Description Position Title: Fieldhouse Supervisor – Community Hours Hourly Rate: $13.00/hour Location: Portage High School Fieldhouse Reports To: Director of Maintenance, Principal Position Summary Portage Township Schools is seeking a reliable and community-oriented individual to serve as the Fieldhouse Supervisor during designated evening community hours. This is an excellent opportunity for a current PTS employee who is looking to engage with the public, promote wellness, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents using the facility. Schedule Season: October 1 through the third week of May Days/Times: Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM Note: Schedule may vary slightly based on building use or weather. Responsibilities Open and close the Fieldhouse facility at designated times Greet and monitor community members using the space Ensure a safe and respectful environment for all participants Enforce district guidelines and policies related to community use Complete any required logs, reports, or incident forms Communicate any concerns, damage, or misuse to the appropriate personnel Qualifications Must be a current Portage Township Schools employee in good standing Reliable, punctual, and able to manage responsibilities independently Comfortable interacting with community members of all ages Ability to remain calm and professional in a supervisory setting
