About the role

The Field Training Specialist conducts both on-site and virtual training for local Winsupply companies, working closely with Local Companies, Area Leaders, and Training Services to ensure desired performance outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Train employees on WISE, WinZone, and Winreports functions.
  • Train new presidents, managers, and employees on various topics including WISE functions, reports (e.g., A Day’s Work in a Day—ADWIAD).
  • Assist local companies in organizing and setting up WISE data.
  • Conduct follow-up training activities with recently visited local companies.
  • Participate in in-person training events such as Annual Meetings, National Training, Regional Training, and MDTP sessions.
  • Record training help videos and provide supporting help documentation.
  • Create, maintain, and follow up on help tickets for end users until their issues are resolved.
  • Work routinely with Programming, Quality Assurance, and Support teams on various projects.
  • Provide conceptual and strategic guidance to local companies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in the wholesale distribution industry.
  • Ability to provide attention to detail, thoroughness, and ownership in all duties.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing work environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience using the WISE ERP system (desired).

Additional Information

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
  • Lifting and transporting moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel up to 50% of the time.
