Field Tester Single Phase - IM-2114 - PA Meter Services - York

Responsibilities

• Tests, installs, maintains, and makes minor repairs on all makes and types of single-phase, self-contained watt-hour meters.
• Makes voltage and load tests.
• Investigates consumer complaints; correct the conditions or reports it to the proper authority.
• May be required to read, install or remove meters; reconnect and disconnect meters and services, assist Field Testers 1st and 2nd Class or perform other related or less skilled work as directed.

Qualifications

• Able to perform semi-routine operations of considerable complexity and variety where standard methods of procedure are available.
• A high school graduate with a good background in the sciences including Algebra, Plane and Solid Geometry, Trigonometry, and Physics, plus courses in electrical theory and electronics.
• A valid driver's license.
