Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC)

Primary Responsibilities
- Create, assign, and monitor work orders
- Track machine service intervals
- Order parts
- Diagnose issues using data from hundreds of makes and models
- Provide preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil free air compressors
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations
- Operate and set up equipment at the shop and on customer sites
- Train lower level technicians as needed
- Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
Qualifications
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment
- Experience with calculations and reading schematics
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
- High School diploma or equivalent, with trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Age 21 or older to operate company vehicle
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
