Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC)

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders using the company’s tech.
• Track machine service intervals.
• Order parts for equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues using data from hundreds of makes and models.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs at customer job sites.
• Handle repairs at the shop and on customer locations.
• Aid in the training of lower-level technicians.
• Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Stay knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school certificate.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
• Experience working on power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, and performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and reading schematics.
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
• EPA 608 certification (preferred, obtainable within 6-12 months of employment).
