Field Technician (Mechanic)(Pump, Power & HVAC)

About the role

At EquipmentShare, we're hiring a Field Technician (Mechanic) out of Omaha, NE to service our Advanced Solutions division. This role requires 75% travel and involves servicing pump, power, and HVAC equipment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor work orders
• Track machine service intervals
• Order parts
• Diagnose issues using real-time data
• Practice safe job practices
• Use technology comfortably
• Travel to customer job sites for preventive maintenance and repairs
• Field Mechanic: Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform repairs, assist in training, maintain paperwork, assist with equipment/parts pick-up and delivery
• Assist with training lower-level technicians
• Maintain electronic documentation of work performed
• Handle other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma, trade school certificate preferred
• Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
• Experience with power generators, commercial HVAC equipment, and related repairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• At least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
• Physical ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend
• Must be clean-shaven for certain customers' requirements
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen
