Field Technician - Louisville

Allied Technical Services is hiring a Field Service Technician for our Pump Rental Branch in Buckner, KY, just outside Louisville. This hands-on role involves working with a team to install, service, deliver, and operate temporary pump and piping systems used on water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the region.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide service, installation, delivery, and operation support for temporary portable pump and piping systems used in municipal, industrial, and construction markets. This role includes local and regional travel to job sites. We provide in-house training, steady hours, overtime opportunities, and a company vehicle for travel to job sites.

To be successful, you will need to be flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn. Exposure to job site conditions includes petro-chemical refineries, mills, mines, construction sites, industrial/power plants, and wastewater treatment plants, as well as all outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, deliver, and operate temporary pump and piping systems
• Load/unload pump and pump equipment on and off vehicles using powered industrial equipment
• Operate lifting equipment including forklifts, extended boom forklifts, skid steers, and tow motors
• Complete documentation associated with customer rented deliverables
• Participate in a rotating schedule of after-hours emergency response and on-call work

Requirements

• 1-3 years prior construction labor experience preferred but not required
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more, bend, squat, reach, and work in indoor/outdoor conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
• Must pass a drug and alcohol screening
• Must pass a background check and complete Form I-9 Documents

Pay

$18.50/hr (entry-level) up to $21/hr (experienced), plus substantial overtime. Incremental pay increases as you complete training and become proficient in specific tasks.

$3,000 sign-on bonus paid in staggered payments: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 at 6 months, and $1,500 after one year.
