FIELD TECHNICIAN III

About the role

Nabors is seeking an experienced field service technician to support the service and maintenance needs of our customers. Key responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations to install new equipment and respond to service requests.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues, including troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Train less experienced technicians on company equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks and service equipment.
• Provide technical data measurements and documentation.
• Assist in the installation of additional systems and upgrades on new rigs.
• Communicate with Customer Representatives and assist in the sales process.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, drilling systems, or electronics.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Valid Driver’s License and Passport.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical training.
• Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Skills

• Ability to read and understand equipment schematics and drawings.
• Advanced understanding of hydraulic and electrical equipment, functions, and testing.
• Ability to use process meters and micrometers.
• Knowledge of OEM drilling equipment and ability to make repairs.
• Experience with troubleshooting equipment using multi meters, amp probes, meggers, and scopes.
