Job Summary
Pape’ Material Handling, Inc., a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a skilled and driven Field Technician II to join our team in Seattle, WA. What You’ll Do
- Travel throughout your assigned area, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer locations.
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of systems including electric forklift systems, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, carburetors, electrical and air systems, final drives, clutches, and more.
- Accurately troubleshoot equipment issues and communicate clearly with customers.
- Work with the Parts Department to identify, order, and return parts as needed to complete each job efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver expert service, perform high-quality repairs and maintenance on cutting-edge equipment, and build trusted relationships with customers.
What You Need
- 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Driver’s license with a good driving record. CDL preferred.
- Must provide own tools.
Compensation
$32-48/hr (Depending on Experience)
