This position involves traveling throughout the assigned area to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment. About the Role

As a Field Technician II, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of equipment systems, including electric forklift systems, LPG and diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, carburetors, electrical and air systems, final drives, clutches, and more. You'll also assist with repairs in the shop, communicate with customers, and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various material handling equipment
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and expectations
• Identify, order, and return parts as needed to complete jobs efficiently
• Work independently and troubleshoot equipment issues accurately
• Assist with repairs in the shop as required

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing equipment, preferably in the material handling industry
• Basic computer knowledge
• Self-motivation and ability to work under little or no supervision
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills
• Driver's license with a good driving record. CDL preferred
• Must provide own tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

$30-42/hr (Depending on Experience)
