Field Technician Heavy Equipment

Vermeer All Roads is excited to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to our growing team. Put your skills to work repairing Vermeer machinery and components while traveling to customer sites. You will use your mechanical abilities to work independently while building your skills and advancing your career.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
• Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
• Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
• Communicate with the factory for technical support
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
• Welding experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude

Pay

• Hourly pay: $28–$40 (based on experience)
• Production bonuses available

Schedule

Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends
