Field Technician - Charlotte

About the role

Join a team that safeguards communities by inspecting, detecting, and preventing natural gas leaks using the latest innovative equipment. After training, you’ll work independently, managing your time and problem-solving in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform leak surveys and investigations using advanced detection tools
• Conduct small repairs on live gas lines as needed
• Accurately analyze data and relay findings
• Provide professional, responsive customer service as the face of the company
• Walk 5+ miles per day while carrying up to 20 lbs. of equipment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid, unexpired driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
• Ability to carry up to 20 lbs. of equipment

Pay

$19.00 per hour with guaranteed automatic $0.50 increases at 60 days and 180 days.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 1st shift.
