FIELD TECHNICIAN

Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform minor irrigation repairs and adjustments.
• Perform grounds maintenance including blowing, pressure washing, mowing, and trimming.
• Reset cobble and landscaping elements.
• Weed control.
• Patrol common areas, pool, and parking lots, perform litter and debris control, note safety & maintenance issues.
• Paint split rail fencing and perform graffiti remediation as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/landscaping/irrigation.
• General computer knowledge; Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiency a plus.
• Experience with lawn and landscaping tools, machinery.
• Superior multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to manage workflow amid shifting priorities.
• Willing to learn company process and procedures, and learn/use proprietary software.
• Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record.
• Professional and respectful demeanor with all internal and external customers at all times.

Special Position Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy.
• Have reliable transportation.

Essential Functions

• Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc.
• Use standard maintenance equipment, including: vehicles, power equipment, hand tools, etc.
• Relocate up to (50) pounds.
• Be stationary or in motion for periods of time.

Schedule & Travel

• Up to 28 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
• Occasional weekend or on-call duties may arise.
