About the role
Spectrum is seeking a self-motivated, resourceful, and problem-solving Field Technician. This role involves hands-on work both independently and as part of a team, with opportunities for rapid career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Perform installations or service calls at customer premises
- Use hand tools, ladders, and electronic diagnostic and installation equipment
- Conduct work at heights, climbing ladders and utility poles, adhering to safety standards and using proper protective equipment
- Communicate with, engage, and educate customers on products and services
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel to and from assigned customer premises, company facilities, and other locations as necessary
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in using computers and software applications
- Competent in using hand tools
- Effective communication, professionalism, time management, organization, critical thinking, responsibility, and reliability
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- Physical abilities to walk over various terrains and weather conditions, carry tools and equipment, safely use weight-bearing equipment, lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders up to 32 feet, work in confined spaces and at heights, operate and navigate a company vehicle in changing environments, and work outdoors for extended periods in any season and inclement weather

Pay
$20.50/hour, with the potential to increase through self-progression program. Additional opportunities for career advancement and leadership positions.
Schedule
Field Technicians work in assigned shifts and varying hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs. They start their day from home, driving a company vehicle directly to their first work location.
