Field Technician

SOCOTEC has immediate openings for a construction materials testing Field Technician in Las Vegas, Nevada.

About the role

The successful candidate will perform construction inspection, soils and materials testing, and field certification tasks. Knowledge of standard test methods for the following is required:

• Field density testing of soil utility backfill
• Mass grading
• Paving subgrade
• Proof-rolling observation
• Field concrete sampling and testing

Requirements

• Soils field testing experience
• Current radiation user safety certificate
• Field testing of concrete with current ACI Field Tech I and/or NAQTC certifications in sampling and density, aggregates, and asphalt
• Clark County interview/approval
• Current valid driver’s license
