About the Role

Employment opportunities may become available in connection with the City of Northport – NORTH PORT I&I MITIGATION COMM DEV 2025-43 project, funded by the Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT). Actual job openings will depend on contractor needs and project timing.

Section 3 Hiring Priority

In accordance with Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 (24 CFR Part 75), preference will be given, to the greatest extent feasible, to Section 3 residents, defined as low- or very-low income persons; and targeted Section 3 residents, including individuals who:

• Reside in the project area or service area; or
• Meet HUD income eligibility requirements; or
• Are participants in qualifying workforce programs.
