Field Technician
About the Role
On-Site Health & Safety is seeking Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians (Field Technicians) to join our team. This dynamic role offers diverse challenges and opportunities for growth, allowing you to make a real impact across various worksites, from construction to refineries. You’ll respond to incidents in a company vehicle, ensure health and safety compliance, provide first aid, complete incident reports, perform health screenings, and draw blood if certified.
Qualifications
We’re looking for dedicated professionals with education or experience in one of the following:
- EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic
- Military Medic or equivalent
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
With additional in-house training, we also consider candidates with experience as:
- Emergency Medical Responder
- X-Ray Technician
- Phlebotomist
- Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Must be insurable by our motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits")
- Pass a criminal background check (as permitted by law)
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and clear articulation of instructions
- Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods
- Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances
Due to the nature of our services, employees may have access to federally funded or owned job sites/projects and may be subject to drug testing, including pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, post-accident, and random testing. Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or bodily fluids.
