What You'll Be Contributing
- Perform hardware installation projects and related technical tasks in accordance with assigned work orders, project requirements, and company standards.
- Install, configure, modify, maintain, troubleshoot, and remove equipment based on project needs, according to technical specifications and project directives.
- Perform onsite installation, calibration, testing, repair, maintenance, and system verification activities.
- Read, interpret, and apply technical documentation, schematics, diagrams, manuals, and installation instructions.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions, technical issues, and installation challenges, and implement appropriate corrective actions or escalate issues as needed.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with onsite personnel, project teams, customers, contractors, and internal departments throughout project execution.
- Maintain professional and positive working relationships with customers, vendors, coworkers, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in project planning, pre-production, safety, operational, team and training meetings as required.
- Complete accurate and timely service documentation, installation records, reports, expense submissions, and other required administrative tasks.
- Ensure tools, equipment, materials, and resources necessary to complete assigned work are available, operational, and properly maintained.
- Perform work in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Identify, document, and report non-standard conditions, safety concerns, delays, equipment issues, or project risks to management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment before, during, and after installations.
- Meet project schedules, deadlines, travel requirements, and assigned work commitments.
- Travel to customer and project sites as required to support installation, maintenance, and service operations.
- Timely completion of expense reports, receipt documentation, and other travel-related administrative requirements.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business operations.
What Sets You Apart
- Previous Field Service Technician experience.
- 3 years of experience as a Field Technician or similar position in installation and maintenance of multidisciplinary products (hardware and software).
- Ability and knowledge to use power and hand tools, i.e., using a voltmeter, cable testers.
- Professional written & oral English communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).
- Availability and authorization to travel frequently within the state and/or out of the state is required.
