Field Technician

ECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our Oklahoma City team and advance in a dynamic work environment. The Field Technician performs field observations and begins conducting routine testing of construction materials under direct supervision. This role is primarily field-based and supports project execution by collecting data, documenting site conditions, and assisting with testing activities. The Field Technician develops foundational technical skills and familiarity with construction practices while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values. Responsibilities Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervisionAssists with construction materials testing activities on project sitesCommunicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managersReports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisorsAssists with preparation and submission of daily field reportsSupports basic calculations and data entry related to testing resultsAssists in organizing and maintaining field equipmentNotifies supervisors of damaged or missing equipmentParticipates in project meetings with senior staff as requestedPerforms other field and project support duties as assigned Career Development As Your Experience Grows, ECS Will Support you in enhancing your professional skills.Encourage participation in internal and external training programs and certification opportunities provided by organizations such as OSHA 10, ACI, ASNT, AWS, ICC, NICET, NRCA, RCI, various State DOTs, WACEL, and others, as appropriate.
