Field Technician

About the Role

As a Technician at EchoStar, you’ll deliver TV and Smart Home solutions to millions of customers. You’ll visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home technology while ensuring an excellent customer experience. EchoStar is a six-time J.D. Responsibilities

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
• Maintain a clean work area and professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
• Schedule flexibility, including willingness to travel as needed and work evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Physical ability to:
  • Climb ladders (up to 40 ft)
  • Lift up to 70 lbs
  • Meet and maintain a 335 lb weight limit
• Customer focus to build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-solving skills to tackle challenges on the spot
• Determination to work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability to handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease

Pay

$19.75/hour

Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment screen, including a drug test and an acceptable driving record. Compensation may reflect a combination of hourly pay rate and location pay differential.
