Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home technology
• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their technology and offer additional services when helpful
• Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential function)
• Schedule flexibility: willingness to travel as needed; flexible to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Physical ability: climb ladders up to 40 ft; lift up to 70 lbs; meet and maintain 335 lb weight limit
• Customer focus: build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-solving: tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
• Determination: work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability: handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease
