Field Technician

About the role

As a technician at EchoStar, you’ll deliver TV and smart home solutions to millions of customers, ensuring an excellent customer experience. You’ll visit customers’ homes, solve problems, introduce them to smart home tech, and install and service DISH equipment and smart home products. This role is your opportunity to grow with the company—many of our leaders began in this position.

Responsibilities

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful
• Maintain a clean work area and a professional attitude while working independently
• Stay connected with the team while performing duties

Compensation: $21.50/Hour

Skills, Experience and Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
• Willingness to travel as needed and flexible to work shifts that might include evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Ability to climb ladders up to 40 ft and lift up to 70 lbs
• Must meet and maintain a 335 lb weight limit
• Strong customer focus with the ability to build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-solving skills to tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
• Determination to work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability to handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease
