Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Visit customers’ homes, solve problems, and introduce them to smart home technology
• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes
• Teach customers how to use their technology and offer additional services when helpful
• Maintain a clean work area and a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (driving a company vehicle to customer sites and regional offices is an essential function)
• Schedule flexibility: willingness to travel as needed; ability to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 ft, lift up to 70 lbs, and meet/maintain a 335 lb weight limit
• Customer focus: build trust and create a great experience
• Problem-solving: tackle a variety of challenges on the spot
• Determination: work in tight spaces and all kinds of weather
• Adaptability: handle changes and unexpected tasks with ease

Pay

• Base compensation: $20.50 per hour
• Automatic $1/hour raise after 6 months
• Additional promotions with 5–10% pay increases based on performance
• First-year bonus potential up to $6,400; annual bonus potential up to $9,100 after first year
