Field Technician

About the role

Cennox is seeking an enthusiastic Field Technician to join our expanding Field Services division. We are looking for passionate, experienced field professionals ready to work in an environment that allows growth as Cennox grows. This role involves servicing customers by performing preventative maintenance, installation, diagnosing product issues, and training customers on the proper use of financial equipment throughout Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. The position offers the chance to become part of a rapidly growing company and includes cross-training opportunities to support our banking and retail lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and installations of financial equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues with products
• Train customers on the proper use of financial equipment
• Provide exceptional customer service in dynamic team environments
• Utilize mapping and routing applications for daily travel
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with low voltage electronics, mechanical systems, and computers
• Safe or ATM technical experience is a plus
• Electro-mechanical skills and ability to use basic hand tools (e.g., multi-meter, voltmeter, volt-ohm meter)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps
• Ability to learn through telephone training
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to interpret and execute written instructions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds, stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
• Good hand-eye coordination and sharp eyesight
• Ability to sit or drive for extensive daily travel
