About the role
Cennox is seeking an enthusiastic Field Technician to join our expanding Field Services division. We are looking for passionate, experienced field professionals ready to work in an environment that allows you to grow as Cennox grows. This role involves servicing customers by performing preventative maintenance, installation, diagnosing product issues, and training customers on the proper use of financial equipment throughout Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. The position offers the chance to become part of a rapidly growing company and supports cross-training in our banking and retail lines of business.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and installations of financial equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues with products
- Train customers on the proper use of financial equipment
- Utilize mapping and routing applications for daily travel
- Provide excellent customer service and interpret/execute written instructions
- Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Lift and move 50+ pounds, stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with low voltage electronics, mechanical systems, and computer systems
- Safe or ATM technical experience is a plus
- Electro-mechanical skills and ability to use basic hand tools, including multi-meter, voltmeter, and volt-ohm meter
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with mapping and routing applications such as MapPoint or Google Maps
- Ability to learn through telephone training
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing and a reliable/insured vehicle
- Ability to lift/move 50+ pounds, stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
- Good hand/eye coordination and sharp eyesight
- Ability to sit/drive for extensive daily travel
