Field Technician

About the role

Capitol Companies is a full-service Property Management and Real Estate company providing Development, Construction, Realty Services, and Property Management to the Washington DC Metro area. We are currently seeking a Field Technician with Handyman skills to assist our maintenance/construction department. The position requires a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel to varying job locations.

Responsibilities

• Drywall repairs/finishing
• Painting
• Preventative maintenance
• Basic electrical work
• Other handyman duties as needed

Skills and Requirements

• 1‑3 years of Field Technician/Handyman experience
• Team player willing to take on tasks outside the core job description when necessary
• Strong attention to detail and ability to establish priorities
• Ability to work independently
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required
• Excellent customer service skills, even with difficult or discerning clients
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required

Schedule

Monday to Friday, with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
