Field Technician

Responsibilities
- Install customer service drops or outlets in both residential and business properties to connect customers to services they love.
- Use electronic test equipment and online diagnostic tools to troubleshoot customer service drops or outlets, diagnose and repair reception performance issues, and resolve problems from the customer’s equipment to the output of the first distribution amplifier.
- Ensure proper upstream and downstream signal levels at each termination on the customer’s premises.
- Proactively suggest upgrades of existing services and educate customers on their new or existing equipment.
- Take on additional duties as needed to support the company’s purpose, brand principles, and organizational values.
Requirements
- A good driving record and a valid driver’s license in the state you are applying.
- Flexibility to work overtime and on-call as needed to meet customer demands.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to listen to customers while presenting solutions in a positive manner.
- Ability to work in small and confined areas, lift up to 100 lbs., work on a ladder, and perform duties in all weather conditions.
- At least 3 months of customer service or related experience and/or training (equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable).
- High school diploma or GED.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Intermittent travel throughout the region may be required; per diem is provided.
