Field Technician
Responsibilities
- Provide service and customer support during field installations and repairs.
- Comfortably perform welding and fitting tasks.
- Maintain the workload according to the promoted schedule.
- Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Document processes, including timesheets.
- Follow all company and customer field procedures and protocols.
- Cooperate with labor crew and office personnel, sharing information across the organization.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
- Train customers on the use and preventative maintenance requirements of new equipment.
- Work with other onsite contractors and have some familiarity with heavy equipment.
- Participate in customer meetings before, during, and after the job.
Requirements
- Proven field experience.
- Familiarity with standard hand and electrical tools and their applications.
- Ability to layout equipment in 3-dimensional space with consistent accuracy.
- Ability to layout benchmarks and points of reference.
- Proficiency at reading CAD drawings through entire hierarchy from general arrangements to details.
- Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills when needed.
- Asphalt experience is a plus.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
