Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field installations and repairs.
• Comfortably perform welding and fitting tasks.
• Maintain the workload according to the promoted schedule.
• Manage all onsite installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Document processes, including timesheets.
• Follow all company and customer field procedures and protocols.
• Cooperate with labor crew and office personnel, sharing information across the organization.
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations.
• Train customers on the use and preventative maintenance requirements of new equipment.
• Work with other onsite contractors and have some familiarity with heavy equipment.
• Participate in customer meetings before, during, and after the job.

Requirements

• Proven field experience.
• Familiarity with standard hand and electrical tools and their applications.
• Ability to layout equipment in 3-dimensional space with consistent accuracy.
• Ability to layout benchmarks and points of reference.
• Proficiency at reading CAD drawings through entire hierarchy from general arrangements to details.
• Welding, cutting, and fabrication skills when needed.
• Asphalt experience is a plus.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
